It’s that time of year again. Summer Belly Dance Bootcamp is here! This year there are four bootcamps to choose from! Join in on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and/or Thursdays. This special series is only offered once a year.Classes will be offered in person, as well as online through zoom live stream and email video recordings.
Limited Availability-Only 15 students maximum in each class for in person attendance.
Register and pay below for classes and note whether you'll be attending class in person, zoom live stream, or video recordings.
Students who attend in person will be signed in when they arrive. For live streaming, the zoom link with be emailed to you upon registration and payment. Or you can sign up for a class recording to be emailed to you the next day!

~Choreography Project with Performance Opportunity~
Mondays 6:30pm-8pm
August 4th-25th
Optional Performance Practices September 15th-29th, and October 10th. Performance in Salem, Oregon for the Art of Dance Festival on October 11th. *$80 additional fee for performance portion.
Does learning choreography quench your thirst for dance? Join Mondays to learn an intermediate level sword dance, with a performance opportunity in October. Students can choose to take the just the August Bootcamp, or can continue into September to learn formations and prepare to perform the choreography together at the Art of Dance Festival at the Scottish Rite Temple in Salem.
*simple costuming will need to be purchased for performance.
~Beginning Level~
Tuesdays 6:30pm-8pm
August 5th-26th
Belly Dance Boot Camp is the perfect quick & fun introduction to Bellydance. This 4-week class covers the beginning level basics and fundamentals of the Rose Empire belly dance format. Focusing on drills, isolations, steps, and yes, workouts to make you sweat. This is a very "technique" based belly dance class, combined with yoga, cardio, strength building, and muscle toning to take your dancing to it's maximum potential. Come join us for some hot and spicy summer drills.
~Beyond the Basics with Gabriella~
Wednesdays 6:30pm-8pm
August 6th-27th
Music Theory for Bellydancers. In this all levels bootcamp you will learn music composition, counting, and terminology to incorporate into your dancing and choreography. This is a heavy lecture class, bring a notebook and writing utensil.
~Intermediate/Advanced Level~
Thursdays 6:30pm-8pm
August 7th-28th
Official Rose Empire Format. Each week we will dive into a different portion of Rose Empire Dance Company's technique and style. We will work on 101 and 201 technique, and move onto veil and drum solo basics later in the series. And of course we will have our 30min workout to start every class.
