What to Expect:
Join us for a dynamic 2 hour beginner friendly workshop designed to help you truly understand and refine the movements used in our classes.
Hip Circles are a fundamental movement used in Belly dance and they offer endless creative opportunities. Proper understanding of technique is essential for grace and flow.. You will gain a deeper understanding of technique and build on a strong foundation. Once mastered you can experiment with the size, speed and direction of your hip circles.
Whether you're an absolute beginner or a seasoned dancer, this workshop will elevate your technique and enable each dancer to grow in knowledge and confidence. The workshop will include detailed explanations of the movements, mini practice drills and plenty of individual assistance.
We will explore a variety of circular movements for both the upper and lower body. You’ll master a whole range of movements including:
Large & small hip circles
Turning hip circles
Chest circles
The Corkscrew
Travelling Circles
Hand/wrist circles
.and much more!
With plenty of practice, patience and perseverance you will soon be dancing these movements with confidence and ease.
