Bellweather
Shoegazers are not reliant on a wall of noise to get their message across, but consider dynamics and detail in their production, all the more apparent the higher the volume knob. Anthemic and more pop-oriented than their gazing indie siblings, but with edges as sharp as they are ornate.

Januarius is a Washington, DC–based multi-instrumentalist whose debut album Glass Eyes, Glass Ghosts conjures a lo-fi fever dream of post-punk, darkwave, shoegaze, and no wave, anchored by a cold baritone, brooding guitars, and hypnotic hooks.
