(Portland, OR) Popular local ensemble Big Horn Brass enters into their 5th decade of delivering thrilling brass performances. Under the artistic direction of founder Andrew Harris and in collaboration with Organ Virtuoso Jonas Nordwall, Big Horn Brass will provide memorable vibrations throughout Portland’s First United Methodist Church.
This fall concert, conducted by David Bryan, will feature arrangements for Organ and Brass to include compositions by Richard Strauss, Johann Strauss II, Camille Saint-Saën and Richard Wagner. The grand finale will be Modest Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition, arranged for brass and percussion by Elgar Howarth.
