This is an active, FREE screenwriting group of local writers who want to start and/or develop a script. It is a working program for all levels with the goal of providing screenwriters an opportunity to share and receive feedback on works in progress, finished scripts, concepts in development, and strategies for launching new projects -- within a private, safe, pro-writer environment.
Each session allows for three scripts, with a maximum of fifteen pages each, which may include shorts or excerpts from features. Actors cold read for your roles.
When you are up in the queue, please bring printed copies for each character to be read, plus one to narrate direction.
Newbies are encouraged to attend, as are producers, directors, and actors. In addition to networking, actors can practice their cold reading skills.
