We’re excited to feature the incredible Wu Fei as part of the Bellevue College International Guitar Series! Wu Fei is a master of the guzheng, a Chinese zither often compared to the slide guitar for its expressive tonal range. Her performances weave Chinese folk traditions with avant-garde experimentation, creating a sound that feels at the same time ancient and contemporary, demonstrating how traditional instruments carry new meaning in modern hands. This concert will include the world premiere of "Shendos 15: String Fields", a new work commissioned by Bellevue College from our composer-in-residence, Tom Baker, featuring Wu Fei and the Bellevue College Guitar Ensemble.

Parking
Bellevue College requires parking permits at all times, 24/7. Visitors can purchase a daily permit from the parking meter located just outside Carlson Theatre. Additional parking meters are available in Lots 12 and 16, on the north side of the Gym, on the first floor of the Parking Garage near the elevators, and outside the Public Safety office (B132).
With a valid daily parking permit, visitors may park in any daily, general, or student parking lot on campus. For the closest access to Carlson Theatre, we recommend parking in Lots 14 or 12.
