Who wants to go to Belle Isle with some friends! With 4 to the vehicle - $12.50CAD per person. Shared vehicle costs would be about $50CAD/vehicle. These are the SHARED COSTS.
Entry to Belle Isle is $11USD per vehicle
Tunnel Cost:
windsor - detroit $7.75CAD per vehicle
detroit - windsor $8.25USD per vehicle
Fuel - $15
Any individual costs will be our own - bring a card that will work there, or cash USD. You can withdraw USD from most banks.
Great Lakes Museum $5USD per person

Let's go to Belle Isle! My car can carry 4 people, if anyone else would be willing to drive - please let me know ASAP. Scheduled for Sunday Sept 28th. We can decide on meetup point based on interest.

Itinerary
-Meet at ________, - 9AM
-Cross border to Detroit
-Park Sunset point - pictures of detroit/windsor
-Park at StrEats (food trucks), Conservatory, Oudolf Gardens, Great Lakes Museum ($5USD)
-Park at Eugene & Elaine C. Driker Trail walk to Lighthouse and beaches (around 2 km there and back)
-Park at Belle Isle Nature Center
-Park at Belle Isle Beach House for the second StrEats location and explore the beach
-Return to Windsor
Any ideas or suggestions are welcome.
REMEMBER: Belle Isle is in the USA. You need your PASSPORT!!! Make sure everything you intend to bring is OK to cross the border, and declare anything appropriately!
