Muscatine/Ichikawamisato Sister Cities Bell Ringing Celebration of 81 Years of Peace
Wednesday - August 5th, 2026 - 6:00pm to 6:30 pm
Japanese Garden at Muscatine Art Center
1314 Mulberry Avenue, Muscatine
Bring a bell to ring! Bring any type of bell; big or small, hand bell, call bell, cow bell, any bell! Ichikawamisato & Muscatine will both speak of peace between our countries, then bells will ring beginning at 6:15pm, followed by a moment of silence.
Muscatine Sister Cities & Ichikawamisato Sister City in Japan will be ringing bells for peace at the same time, on different continents, in celebration of 81 years of peace after the devastation of Hiroshima & Nagasaki in 1945.
Please join us in this celebration of peace!
