Bell/Hazelwood Book Club Thursdays at the Main Library
The Bell/Hazelwood Book Club follows a guided discussion format, with a special emphasis on the author’s biography to illuminate the context behind their work. Each session explores narrative structure, central themes, and plot development, with the moderator shaping conversation around these key elements to deepen understanding and spark thoughtful dialogue.
Currently, the group is reading one or two stories per week from The Vintage book of American Women Writers edited by Elaine Showalter
