Join us for a fireside with the creators of , a stunning new art book depicting the life and ministry of Jesus Christ through stained glass.
Hear Tom and Gayle Holdman share the story behind their monumental stained-glass exhibit, inspired by their work in the Rome Temple. Also joining them are scholars Anthony Sweat and Tyler Griffin, who provide powerful biblical commentary in the book.

Book Authors
Due to lifelong speech impediment, Tom Holdman expresses his light best through art. He started "speaking" through glass at the age of fourteen by creating stained glass windows out of his parents' garage. Forty years later, he leads a team of more than 150 artists with his wife, Gayle. He has collaborated with thousands of artists in all fifty states and more than one hundred countries. He is building the visionary Sphere of Light to show the light within humanity.
Gayle Holdman is an award-winning author and designer, an international public speaker, and devoted mother to four children. She is co-owner of Holdman Studio with her husband, Tom, where they illuminate messages of God's love and light through stained glass. Gayle has a bachelor's degree in family science and human development and is certified in applied positive psychology.
Book Commentary
Tyler Griffin is an associate dean of Religious Education at Brigham Young University in the Department of Ancient Scripture. He received his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and his master's and doctorate degrees in instructional technology from Utah State University. He is also a co-founder of BYU's VirtualScriputres.org, which helps to create digital models of Jerusalem at the time of Christ.
Anthony Sweat is a professor of Church History and Doctrine at Brigham Young University. He received his PhD in education from Utah State University. Dr. Sweat is the author of numerous religious books and articles. He also has a bachelor's degree in painting and drawing, and as a practicing artist specializes in underrepresented scriptural scenes. Additionally, he researches the use of art in religious learning.
