Deze Belgian Worldwide Music Night vindt plaats in het kader van de Week van de Belgische Muziek, net als de Flanders Folk Awards en de concerten van bodies, Colt, Ronker, OHNA en Johannes Is Zijn Naam.
Tijdens de Week van de Belgische Muziek leggen we world- en folkliefhebbers in de watten met een goedgevulde tweedaagse. We beginnen met het Belgian Worldwide Music Network dat haar jaarlijkse showcases organiseert, met tussendoor de bekendmaking van de winnaars van de Belgian Worldwide Music Awards 2026.
Verwacht vier fijne, lokale ‘worldwide’ acts. De bands worden geselecteerd door een externe jury en midden december aangekondigd. Het feest gaat verder op dinsdag 3 februari met de Flanders Folk Awards.
Belgian Worldwide Music Night is een samenwerking tussen Belgium Booms, VI.BE, WBM, Conseil de la Musique, Sabam, Playright+, Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles, Kiosk Radio en AB.
