BELFOUNTAIN is the new alt-folk project fronted by singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and JUNO Award-winning producer Chris Graham. The debut album Some Hearts, out June 21, is an authentic, roots-inspired collection of songs that features an earthy mix of old and new, always familiar yet full of surprises. Influenced by the alt-folk anthems and alt-country ballads by groups such as The Strumbellas and The Lumineers, it showcases Graham’s powerful voice, exceptional songwriting and introspective lyrics. TIA BRAZDA is one of Canada’s most recognizable voices in jazz, with her “hip pastiche” and original songwriting paying homage to the golden era while remaining daringly modern. Since her debut release “Cabin Fever” in 2012, she has played clubs, theatres and festivals across North America and Europe, including the Montreux Jazz Festival and main stage at the Festival Internationale de Jazz de Montreal. Her album, “Bandshell” was named as one of the best of the past decade by Rai Radio in Italy and best of the year by Jazz FM91 in Canada. Her latest album “When I Get Low” features the classic song Smile, which has received over 700,000 streams on Spotify.
