Belfairs Nature Scrapbooking for Teens and Adults: Spring Edition

In this session, you will make your own unique scrapbook you can take home, then join us on a walk to find any signs of easter and spring that inspire you to add to your scrapbook. The creativity with scrapbooking has no limits; we will use nature to discover how Belfairs woodland, flora, and fauna spark your creativity. Including art, stamping, collecting, identification, doodling, creative writing, or what else you can think of, we will explore many ways to document the nature that inspires us.

This event is recommended for teenagers (13-17 years old) and adults (18+). Please note that all attendees will need to purchase a ticket to attend. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.

📍Where do we meet?

Meet outside the Nature Discovery Centre. Please allow time for parking. If you arrive later, further meeting point instructions will be sent before the event. 

🥾What should we wear?

Most of our events are fully outdoors, and you need to come dressed for the weather.  We recommend layers (top and bottom), which can get mucky. Wellies (with thick socks) and waterproofs are a good shout if you have them. 

🌍Where are you based?

We are located in Leigh-on-Sea, just off the A127 in Southend-on-Sea. We are also close to Rochford, Hadleigh, and Rayleigh.

🚗Is there parking?

Yes, we have two free car parks. The main car park is located within the main entrance but has limited spaces and is a short walk to the Nature Discovery Centre. The second car park is located behind The Inn at Belfairs pub on Eastwood Road North. The Nature Discovery Centre is approximately a 15-minute walk away from the second car park, straight through the woodland. Please allow enough time for parking when arriving for your event. 

🚻Are there toilets?

Yes. Our Belfairs Nature Discovery Centre has toilets (including an accessible toilet and baby changing facilities)

☕Is there a café?

There is a café serving hot and cold drinks, snacks, ice cream, and light lunches. 

🐕‍🦺Can we bring a dog?

As much as we love our furry friends, only assistance dogs are welcome at our events.
