About this Event
Youth Making Health a Priority (YMHP) 2.0 and PFLAG are teaming up once again to bring you another round of Being Queer in the Workforce (B.Q.i.t.W.), a series of group meet-ups for gay and bisexual men ages 18-29, consisting of workforce development workshops, where we will discuss applying for a job, writing a resume and cover letter, workplace discrimination/retaliation, conducting yourself on the job.
An hour-long panel discussion with four queer professionals from various walks of life in different industries will also be taking place on one of the meet-up dates.
Furthermore, it wouldn't be a BOP event without rapid HIV/STI testing present, courtesy of Project STAY! Be sure to take advantage of those services -- it just takes 20 minutes and you'd be all set!
This session of B.Q.i.t.W. will take place on Friday, 3/7/2025 and Friday, 3/21/2025 from 5:00PM-8:00PM at the Brooklyn Community Pride Center. Particpants who attend both meet-up dates will get a $20 Target Card!
