A Public Talk with Dr. Timothy Beatley, Founder of the Biophilic Cities Network
About this Event

In 2022 Raleigh became a Biophilic City, joining a global network of partner cities working to “conserve and celebrate nature in all its forms,” furthering its commitment to climate action and connecting nature and people in urban spaces.

Join us at Dix Park on Wednesday, September 25th as we welcome Dr. Timothy Beatley, the founder and executive director of the Biophilic Cities Network – we’ll learn about his work and advocacy in green urbanism, Raleigh’s progress since joining the Biophilic Cities Network, and what actions we can all take to make Raleigh a more sustainable, equitable, and resilient community.
