Who is Jesus? It’s a question that sparks many answers. But Jesus isn’t defined by who WE want him to be. He’s defined by who HE says he is. And in the Bible, Jesus says a lot about who he is.
If we truly want to know who Jesus is, Scripture is where we should look. In the Bible, Jesus unveils his true nature and purpose. He doesn't allow us to shape him according to our desires; instead, he reveals his identity with unwavering clarity.
At The Gospel Coalition’s 2024 Women’s Conference, we’ll look at the seven “I Am” statements in John’s Gospel. We’ll get to hear Jesus answer in his own words, as he teaches different aspects of who he is and how we relate to him:
- I AM the Bread of Life (John 6:22-59)
- I AM the Light of the World (John 8:12-30)
- I AM the Door (John 10:1-10)
- I AM the Great Shepherd (John 10:11-18)
- I AM the Resurrection and the Life (John 11:17-44)
- I AM the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:1-14)
- I AM the True Vine (John 15:1-11)
In TGCW24’s mainstage sessions, our keynote speakers—Melissa Kruger, Jen Wilkin, Vanessa Hawkins, Courtney Doctor, Nancy Guthrie, Ruth Chou Simons, David Platt—will unpack each of these “I Am” statements. They’ll lead us to feast together on the Words of Jesus, as we BEHOLD the truth and beauty of who he is, and then BELIEVE in obedience, with our whole lives.
In our breakout sessions, dozens of other speakers—including Ann Voskamp, Blair Linne, Gretchen Saffles, Rebecca McLaughlin, and many more—will offer topical sessions to help you grow in a variety of areas of Christian life, ministry, and mission. New for our 2024 Women's Conference, we’ll also have more intimate, expert-led workshops among the many breakout session options. Though included with the price of conference registration, these five practical workshops have limited capacity and will fill up quickly.
TGCW24 is a conference for women, about God. The main draw is God and his Word, and how it speaks prophetically and practically into our twenty-first century questions, challenges, hopes, and fears. This conference is an opportunity for you to:
