About the Presenters ~
Ann Schmidt
Ann Schmidt is an accomplished senior human resources leader with more than 30 years of experience across industries, including significant leadership roles at Nike and adidas. She has shaped organizational structures, strengthened leadership capability, and guided teams through complex transformation working across market, regional, and global environments, including an overseas assignment in The Netherlands.
Ann brings deep expertise in organizational effectiveness, talent strategy, and strategic HR partnership. She is particularly skilled at building high-performing teams and aligning people strategies with business priorities to enable lasting cultural and structural change.
Since retiring from corporate leadership, Ann serves as a nonprofit board member, pro bono advisor, and guest lecturer. Through this work, she remains committed to elevating organizational performance, strengthening member engagement, and supporting the broader community through purposeful, people-centered leadership
Kristin Parrot
Kristin Parrott is a seasoned global human resources executive and proud alumna of the University of Portland. She currently serves as Global Vice President of Human Resources for Weir, where she partners with the Weir ESCO Division President to design and execute people strategies that strengthen organizational capability across multiple continents. In this role, she leads global HR teams in advancing talent development, workforce planning, employee experience, and inclusive, high‑performing culture.
Kristin’s career spans complex transformations, cultural evolution, and strategic people leadership. Prior to Weir, she held senior HR roles at adidas North America, where she helped guide the organization through historic growth, major restructuring, and advancement of innovative DEI, talent, and employee‑relations frameworks.
Known as a practical strategist and culture champion, Kristin is passionate about helping the next generation of leaders understand how thoughtful people strategy fuels business success.
