We're excited to offer you an exclusive opportunity to join one of two hard hat tours of Denver Rock Drill at 1648-1798 E. 40th Ave., in the Cole neighborhood – adjacent to RiNo Art District, on Thursday, September 19 at 4:30 PM or at 5:30 PM. These tours will showcase the remarkable transformation of this historic site!

The oldest building on the site dates back to 1910, when the Denver Rock Drill Manufacturing Company first began producing their famous pneumatic “Waugh” drills. Over the decades, additional buildings were added or modified, as the company expanded to occupy two city blocks and employed 600 workers. In the 1970s, Butler Fixture and Manufacturing took over the property, and until recently, it served as a warehouse for various businesses.

During the hard hat tour, you'll walk through a raw construction site with uneven flooring, providing a rare, up-close look at the impressive space. The local architecture firms leading the project will share their vision of transforming these historic structures into a dynamic blend of preservation, residential, and community spaces.

Ticket holders will receive a detailed “know before you go” email with important information about the event, including entry details and more.

Don’t miss this unique behind-the-scenes experience!
