Each month an educational event is hosted at The 1905 by drummer/bandleader Christopher Brown and his quartet as a way to provide up-and-coming musicians, educators, and professional musicians an opportunity to gain valuable insights into the principles that surround both Jazz and music in general.
1-1:30pm: Christopher Brown Quartet performs
1:30-2:30pm: Q & A
2:30-4pm: Open Jam Session
Between Christopher's 20 years of military service, 13 years of living and working as a musician in NYC, several overseas tours, and countless experiences performing with some of the greatest Jazz musicians alive (in addition to the collective wisdom and experiences of the rest of this band), this event is guaranteed to leave you motivated, more informed, and inspired by the breakthrough's you'll have during this event.
