We all wear masks sometimes, hiding our pain, emotions, fears, & struggles behind the face we show the world. But why do we mask, what purpose does it serve, & how do we begin to take those masks off?
Join Ruth Sterling, Master's in Counseling & PhD Candidate in Psychology specializing in Trauma Recovery, for a fun, meaningful, all-ages interactive experience exploring the psychology of masking. Through engaging conversation & a creative, hands-on mask-painting activity, participants will discover how the masks we wear can protect us, what they may be hiding, & how authenticity, connection, & self-expression can support healing.
Please make sure to RSVP by letting us know you're coming so we can have enough supplies on hand! Join us as we look at Masking and everything that entails. Hosted at the Texas Panhandle War Memorial at 4111 S. Georgia, Amarillo, TX 79109.
