Discover the fascinating bugs behind these curious growths and learn why they play a surprisingly crucial role in our ecosystems. Led by this year's Green-Wood Environmental Research Fellows, Dr. Emily Herstoff from St. Francis College and Dr. Michael Tessler from Medgar Evers College, CUNY, this hour-long walk promises engaging insights and a chance to dive into their exciting ongoing research.

• Where To Go: Check-in takes place at the Gothic Arch near the Main Entrance at Fifth Avenue and 25th Street (500 25th Street).
• For Your Safety: We strongly encourage attendees to wear suitable footwear, as the route may include grassy and uneven terrain.
• Inclement Weather Policy: We monitor the weather throughout the day for the best chance of proceeding with the tour and will not make a final decision until at least 3 hours before the start of the tour. Cancellations will be announced via Eventbrite email blasts, so check your email and spam folders.
