Session 4:
Understanding behaviour that challenges.
Managing our own expectations.
Identifying useful approaches and solutions.
We are thrilled to announce that The Scottish Government via the Communities Mental Health & Wellbeing Fund has chosen to support the creation of our neurodivergent parenting programme.
? Each session will focus on a different aspect of parenting a neurodivergent child.
? Written and delivered by a neurodivergent parent with neurodivergent children working in collaboration with health and social care professionals.
? We'll talk about what to expect along the way and share personal experiences as well as present research-based ideas, approaches, and suggestions for how parents of neurodivergent children can effectively support their children.
? Understanding one's role in this unique parenting experience is critical for a child's success, and it's also the first step toward accepting and embracing the beautiful differences of neurodivergent parenting.
