This workshop is being held at Clemson Livestock & Poultry Health, 500 Clemson Road, Columbia, SC.


The program will cover several important aspects of poultry production. Topics to be covered include:

  • Intro of getting started
  • Different breeds for production
  • Housing – permanent, mobile housing, pastured poultry
  • Predator control
  • Feeding and nutrition
  • Biosecurity basics to prevent diseases

Registration is $95 and includes a flash drive containing copies of the presentation, fact sheets, lunch, and refreshments. This program should prove beneficial to new and experienced poultry owners alike.
