Beginning Wheel Throwing (Ages 14+)

In this beginner-friendly (but all-skills-welcome!) class, you'll dive into the basics of throwing clay on the pottery wheel. Learn how to center, shape, and sculpt as you create functional pieces like cups, bowls, plates, and vases—plus anything else your imagination dreams up!

Along the way, you’ll pick up essential techniques like trimming, attaching handles, and applying glazes to bring your creations to life. Whether you're here to relax, explore a new hobby, or just have fun getting messy—this class is for you.

Wear clothes you don't mind getting clay on (it washes out) and closed-toed shoes. For wheel work, skip jewelry, roll up sleeves, and trim nails for the best experience.
