BEGINNING WATERCOLOR - BASICS - in the Gallery. Adults & Teens ages 13 and over – Min class size 2, max 8. No experience necessary.Many people think that painting in watercolor is hard to learn. This class will demystify the process of painting with watercolor. This is a one day only beginning watercolor class that is technique driven and will include information on the paint, watercolor substrates, and supplies such as brushes and paper. This class teaches you how to use the paint and water to get the best results. We will also analyze and learn how to fix common mistakes made with watercolor and will include instruction on many different watercolor techniques used by watercolor artists.
After this class, if you want to continue on with watercolor, sign up for Laurie’s Watercolor Workshop in which each class will focus on a specific topic or Laurie’s Speedy Watercolor Landscapes in which you will be able to complete a painting from start to finish in one class.
