Beginning Tarot Workshop With Laurie Blanchard From Spirited Soul Tarot

Join us for the Beginning Tarot Workshop with Laurie Blanchard from Spirited Soul Tarot! Whether you're a total newbie or just looking to brush up on your skills, this workshop is perfect for anyone interested in diving into the world of tarot.

Learn the basics of tarot card meanings, how to do simple spreads, and connect with your intuition to give insightful readings. Laurie will guide you through the fundamentals in a fun and interactive way, so come ready to learn and have a great time!

Drinks and snacks provided. Workshop will begin with a fun mixer, then a talk by Laurie on the history and fundamentals of Tarot. Then we will go over basic methods and spreads of reading and familiarizing yourself with your deck. We will then break into groups for practicing and learning. Now is the perfect time of year to begin reading as the veil is thin and it aids in intuition which helps you have more faith in your abilities.

To Prepare: Please purchase a Rider Waite Smith Tarot Deck, if you do not have one, you can order them online or purchase at local metaphysical stores. For this workshop, we will ONLY be using this deck to learn from.

After that feel free to buy all the fun decks your heart desires, and Laurie has desired many! But for learning purposes, this is the fundamental deck and needs to be foundational for how Laurie teaches. It is suggested you do not purchase the mini or extra large decks, simply buy the deck that is standard card size. There will be decks available to purchase at the event should you forget, but we cannot guarantee there will be enough for everyone so we want to make sure you have a deck to practice with and begin to familiarize yourself with before, at and after the workshop.

A simple workbook will be given you at the the start that you can use for your beginning Tarot journey. We also reccomend purchasing the best selling Tarot Workbook, "Easiest Way To Learn Tarot, Ever!" by Dusty White but this is not necessary to the workshop.
