Wednesdays in February, Mira Barakat teaches beginning tango! This is a fun, friendly Argentine tango class focusing on fundamental techniques for social dancing. Masks are required.
6:45-7:00 check-in
7:00-8:00 tango class
8:00-10:00 practica
$80 general admission, 4 classes
$60 students with ID, 4 classes
$10 practica drop-in (after 8:00 pm)
This is a queer-friendly event where all genders are welcome to lead and follow. No partner necessary. Dance whatever role you like!

This class takes place in the ballroom or drawing room of the Berkeley City Club. To enter the building, ring the bell and say “tango.” We are a 10-minute walk from Downtown Berkeley BART. No non-member parking in the Berkeley City Club lot.
