Let's get you out on the dance floor!In this class you'll learn the basics of swing dancing. You'll get moving to big band and swing music, learn how to communicate through lead and follow connection and get lots of practice with 6 count footwork. This class is great for beginning level swing students with any amount of experience (or no experience). We'll make sure to do something a bit different than last month so there will be something new for repeating students too!
For new dancers, this is a series class. Please plan to start June 4 and come the whole month! People who have taken Beginning Swing before are welcome to drop in any week to learn some new things and hone your dance skills. No partner necessary.
Details:
Cost: $15/$10 for students, $50/$40 for the 4-week series
Teacher: Sarah and Christianna
Stay after class to dance from 7:30-9:00. Admission is free with class!

Bring clean shoes that won't track in grit or leave black heel marks. Parking is limited, so plan to park on nearby streets and walk to the North Start Hall at 20 Crowley Street.
