Come learn this classic swing dance that has gained popularity in Portland and across the nation! Like Balboa, Slow Balboa is a vintage swing dance that originated in Southern California in the 1940's, created specifically for slow tunes. Mary and Rod will be teaching a beginning series to get you out swaying to those slow, sweet jams. Some knowledge of Balboa will be helpful but is not required. A partner is also recommended but not required.
