Beginning Machine Quilting - In Store ClassGet the quilt tops off the shelves and onto your beds and walls! In class, you will practice echoing, set-in patterns, crosshatching, stitch in the ditch, and free motion quilting. You will need a sewing machine in good working order with walking foot, darning (free motion) foot, and the ability to lower the feed dogs.

- Ability to lower feed dogs OR darning plate
- Sewing machine in good working order
- Walking Foot OR Dual feed machine - MUST BE ON MACHINE WHEN YOU COME
- Darning (Free-Motion) Foot
- Six 15-inch squares of muslin and three 15-inch squares of cotton or 80/20 batting.
- A new needle in your machine (preferably a quilting OR microtex needle size 80/12)
- Basic sewing supplies: thread, needles, pins, scissors, ect.
- Pencil for tracing
RECOMMENDED:
- Quilting Gloves
CLASS POLICY:
1. Fees must be paid at time of registration.
2. Phone registrations taken with a credit card.
3. Refunds given only if we are notified at least 7 business days prior to class.
4. Minimum of 3 students per class. Class will be canceled if minimum is not met and a full refund will be given.
5. No children, babies, or guests in class.
6. You must obtain a supply list PRIOR to each class. Read it completely to see what supplies are necessary AND what preparation needs to be done.
7. Where required, please bring a sewing machine in good working order and that you are familiar with operating. Teachers will not spend class time learning your sewing machine.
** IF YOU CANNOT MAKE IT TO CLASS, YOU MUST CANCEL 7 BUSINESS DAYS IN ADVANCE IN ORDER TO RECEIVE A TRANSFER**
