Beginning Knife Making Workshop
Join us for an exciting hands-on experience at the Beginning Knife Making Workshop! Discover the ancient art of blacksmithing at beautiful Windmill Farm. This in-person event is perfect for beginners who want to learn the basics of bladesmithing.
During this workshop, you'll have the opportunity to make your own Blacksmith's Knife by working with hot metal, shaping it with hammers, and learning the basics of heat treating. Experienced blacksmith Yori Seeger will guide you through the process, teaching you essential techniques and safety precautions.
In Yori's old school shop, you will learn how to craft a knife the old fashioned way- without the use of power tools! You'll also get the entire down-home experience with a home cooked lunch in the cozy farmhouse.
Spaces are very limited, so make sure to secure your spot today! Grab your apron, roll up your sleeves, and get ready to dive into the fascinating world of blacksmithing. We can't wait to see you at the Beginning Knife Making Workshop!
Meet Yori!
Hi I'm Yori Seeger and I'll be your blacksmithing instructor. I have been a sculptor and blacksmith for over 20 years, and bring all of that experience into the studio with me. I love sharing my craft and helping students fall in love with the traditional art of forging.
