Join guest instructor Julie Lukosaitis at artPOP and learn how to make custom glass beads. In this torch-fired glass class, you will learn how to heat glass to make different shaped beads and pull stringers for making designs and details on your beads. Several techniques will be covered in class. You will choose your own colors of glass for your projects, choosing from a variety of transparent and opaque colors. Everyone will make 8 to 12 beads in a one day class. Finish the day by creating art jewelry and functional gift items with your beads made in class. No experience necessary. Tools and supplies are provided during class.
