About this Event

Join Spaces of Opportunity and the UArizona Cooperative Extension's Urban Agriculture Production, Small-Scale, and Beginning Farmer Program for our first workshop in the "Beginning Farmer Rancher Development Program" series - a statewide partnership to bring beginning farmer education to producers and set operations up for success!

The fourth event at Spaces of Opportunity will cover season extension growing practices with Agriculture Resource Economists, and urban agriculture expertise.

Topics covered will include selecting appropriate cultivars for local soil and climate conditions. How frost cloth, shade cloth, etc. can expand growing seasons.

This event will take place in person at Spaces of Opportunity.
