Beginning Arm Knitting with Rachel Damon

In Beginning Arm Knitting: This Beginning Arm Knitting workshop is an introduction to large-scale knitting, using your arms in place of the needles. You’ll be surprised to find how easily you can make a scarf, or even a blanket, in a short amount of time! This workshop will take you through casting on, knitting, and casting off, all with your arms. For experienced crafters, we can also talk about shaping and scale.

The workshop will begin with us sitting in a circle together for short introductions, then step-by-step instruction for casting on and knitting, then time for everyone to work at their own pace with help as requested. We will end with casting off, and if there's time, test out some shaping techniques such as adding and subtracting stitches.
