Beginners Wood Carving Class

Gorman Heritage Farm will be offering a 3-hour instructor led workshop where you will learn the basics of wood carving! Robert Riccardi, one of the members of the Cincinnati Carvers Guild, will walk you through the process of carving your own wolf! You will get to take home your instructions packet and completed project.

All materials will be provided for use in class, along with refreshments. Ticket options are available to purchase take-home kits along with class admission. Take-home kits include: gloves, carving knife, finger cot, strops, and sandpaper.

Arrive early to explore the farm during our extended hours before the class, spend your evening learning a new skill, and go home feeling accomplished and ready to perfect your new hobby!

What does my ticket include?

This ticket includes your attendence to this 3-hour, instructor-led workshop, all necessary materials, and take-home information to continue crafting at home. Your admission is covered for the day if you plan to arrive early to explore the farm. You will also be given a free pass to visit the farm again during open hours!

Can children participate in this class?

This class is intended for adults. Keenly interested children ages 16+ may participate.

• Programs run rain or shine. Dress for the weather if your program takes you outside!
• No ticket refunds within 7 days of the program except in the case of Gorman Heritage Farm cancelling the program
