Lindy hop is a partnered jazz dance originating in African American communities in 1920s New York. In this course we will teach you not only the basic moves but also some of the history and culture associated with this wonderful style of dance.
All participants will learn both roles (leading and following). This is a great way to learn the dance and also removes any expectations around outdated gender roles. Book through the DanceCloud link:

Times: Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th May 2024, 2-6pm both days.
Cancellation Policy: We are able to offer refunds for cancellations made at least 14 days before the event. Refunds will only be possible after this date if participants cannot attend because of COVID (e.g. COVID symptoms, a positive test or a request to isolate).
