Learn to sew in this fun Saturday three-week beginners sewing class with a twist, open to adults and teens. Learn all the basics of sewing AND how to do it using a zero waste/upcycled ethos. You will learn to:
Confidently use a sewing machine
Use the straight stitch and zigzag stitch
Finish the seam
Repurpose old garments and source great upcycled materials for your projects.
If you are brand new to sewing you will get to know your machine andmake a bag. For those with a little experience, you can extend your pattern reading knowledge to make a simple project.
When: Every Saturday from 31 Aug - 14 Sept 9.30 am-12 pm
