Dive into the wonderful world of quilting with our Beginner Quilting class! This is a perfect class for a complete beginner to quilting. Join us on Saturday, September 14th, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at G Street Fabrics in Rockville, MD, for an overview of quilting fundamentals and basic block construction presented by Kate.

In this class, our expert instructor will guide you through:

· Understanding the quilting process and types of quilts

· Essential quilting terminology, tools, and materials

· Tips for choosing fabrics and colors

· Basic quilt blocks

· Demo on making two basic blocks

This class includes time to practice making one or two basic blocks.

What to Bring:

Supplies such as sewing machine, thread, and basic tools including fabric, will be available to use for this class. Feel free to bring any sewing or quilting supplies that you like to use to make one or two basic blocks. Bring your enthusiasm, creativity, and focus. You will leave feeling inspired to create!
