Learn how to design, cut and print patterns or designs into a lino block and make beautiful artworks. If all you know about lino is the stuff on the floor then this class will be a real eye opener, and great fun.
Bookings are essential via the link below. Everything is provided so there's no need to buy materials or equipment. You will take home your lino and can use them to carry on printing at home.
We'll cover different carving techniques, talk about paper registration and editioning and experiment with layering and different ways to add colour to prints.
By the end of the course you will have printed your linos on a range of papers for framing, to make greetings cards, give as presents or swap with others in the class.
This course is perfect for beginners. No experience needed.
