About this Event
This Beginner’s Guide to Independent Publishing will walk you through the first steps of publishing and point you in the correct direction for your journey, steered by your motivations and goals for your desired outcomes. This class will outline possible publishing career choices as well as provide resources to keep you on track. Hand-outs will be provided and the class will include question and answer time to make sure you are confident walking out the door.
This information session is for writers at all stages in their writing career - published (traditionally) self/hybrid published, or those who are just starting to think about it.
About the instructor: Suzanne Baltsar has published over 20 books and started her career in publishing under a division of Simon & Schuster and now self-publishes under a pseudonym. She holds a MFA from DeSales University and is currently an adjunct professor there, teaching First Year Writing courses. With a background in film, fitness, education, and even selling wedding gowns, she is a jack of all trades, master of…some.
