every Monday, April 15 - May 13 @ 7:30 - 9:30 PM
Total : 5 weeks
Fee :$250
Students work on-camera with scenes and monologues to build confidence and comfort with the camera, learning technical aspects of acting and finding their tools to memorize and emote, with the help of Stanislavski Method.
Students are taught to build characters, explore scripts, and texts through exercises, and improvisation.
Students with stage experience will learn the difference of acting on film vs. theatre.
Students learn the original Stanislavski Method of Physical Action and witness their progress in front of the camera.
Audition technique, scene study, improv and monologue study form a part of the beginners' Stanislavski based acting class.
Class performances are taped so students can learn to understand their angles, and their performances, and adjust their habits to make it suitable for the camera. It's a great class for anyone wanting to get into film and TV acting, as well as for public speaking.
