Beginners Contemporary Dance (6 week course)

Over this six week course you will be introduced to fundamental contemporary dance techniques, which help you understand and achieve a greater range of movement. Practicing floor work, use of space, body alignment as well as control and release, these techniques will then be explored in a fun and easy choreographed routine.

Contemporary dance is a fantastic way to work on both strength and fluidity, challenge the way in which we navigate through space and creates an awareness of our emotional connection to movement.

Curious Mover courses are open to all adults 18+ , whether you are continuing your practice or have never stepped foot in a studio before. The class content is aimed at a beginner level with the understanding that you will be given a small "taste" of all the amazing things that contemporary dance has to offer.
