Beginner’s Cake Class 🎂✨
Ready to create a cake that actually looks like it came from a bakery?
*Students get to choose their own colors.
This is where it all starts. Whether you’ve never touched a spatula or you’ve tried and thought “why does mine never look like that?”—this class is for you.
We’re breaking it all down step-by-step in a fun, relaxed, hands-on environment where you’ll learn real skills and leave with a cake you’ll be proud to show off (and eat 😉).

Students may bring an apron and a drink
What You’ll Create:

Each student will decorate and take home a 4-layer (8" round) white cake with their choice of filling.
That’s right… a tall, bakery-style cake that serves 12–20 people 👏

What You’ll Learn:
We’re not just decorating—we’re teaching you the why behind everything so you can recreate this at home.
• How to level cake layers like a pro

• How to fill and stack your cake evenly (no leaning towers here 😅)

• How to apply a smooth crumb coat

• How to color buttercream to get the shades you actually want

• How to achieve a clean, beautiful two-toned finish

• How to apply sprinkles to the sides without making a mess

• How to create that perfect chocolate ganache drip

• How to pipe decorative borders and finishing details

• How to use decorating tools + properly package your cake

Also we will touch a little on color theory and why some colors look good and well others don't......

Ticket Options (Please Read Carefully):
Student Ticket

• Ages 12 and older

• One project per student
Parent & Me Ticket

• Available for ages 8–11

• Includes one parent/guardian (18+) and one child

• Two seats, one shared project
Age Requirements:

• Children 8–11 MUST attend with a parent (Parent & Me ticket required)

• Students 12+ must hold their own ticket

• No exceptions
By the end of class, you’ll walk out with a fully finished, bakery-worthy cake and the confidence to do it again on your own 🙌

Ticket Policy (Please Read Before Purchasing)
All class tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable for any reason at any time. This includes cancellations, schedule conflicts, no-shows, late arrivals, illness, or failure to meet class requirements.
By purchasing a ticket, you are reserving a seat in class. Supplies are purchased, prepared, and portioned specifically for each student. Labor is involved in advance preparation and many materials cannot be reused once prepared.
If you cannot attend, you may request a one-time transfer with at least 48 hours notice if space allows, but this is not guaranteed.
Failure to meet class requirements or follow class policies may result in denial of participation without refund.
