Join us for this 'Beginner Tibetan Singing Bowl Workshop for Yoga Teachers'. Whether you're new to the healing effects of Tibetan singing bowls as a yoga teacher or are simply curious as to how you can add them into your yoga classes, this workshop is the perfect introduction.
In this hands-on session you'll learn the basics of how to use Tibetan singing bowls to promote relaxation, reduce stress and enhance mindfulness during your yoga classes.
Through guided practice you'll discover different ways to play the bowls and their potential to relax the mind and body through the use of harmonious frequencies and brainwave entrainment. No experience with Tibetan singing bowls is necessary – just an open mind and a desire to connect with the healing power of Sound.
We'll look at:
- The history of Tibetan Singing Bowls and how they are made
- Types of bowls and tools
- Benefits of Tibetan singing bowls in your yoga class
- Techniques for playing Tibetan singing bowls
- How to create harmonious, relaxing intervals
- When and how to include Tibetan singing bowls into your Yoga classes
- Experience a mini Tibetan sing bowl Sound Bath
What you'll need to bring:
- A journal/notepad and pen
- Wear warm, comfortable layers
- A yoga mat, blanket and small pillow
- A Tibetan singing bowl and mallet if you have one (but not essential)
By the end of the workshop, you'll have a deeper understanding of Tibetan singing bowls and how to use them to foster inner peace and balance in your Yoga classes.
About Becky:
Becky of Grounded Peace is a Teacher of Sound Healing and has taught over 200 students Sound Healing in the last 4 years. She is also a Certified Integral Sound Healing Practitioner in 1-2-1 and Group work, former teacher with the Sound Healing Academy International, has been a highly qualified and accomplished Musician (BA Hons) for over 20 years and is a former Music Teacher in Secondary and Primary Education. She is also a qualified Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Teacher. Becky hosts many regular Sound Healing Workshops in various Sound Healing instruments, in person Sound Baths in the U.K, has hosted events at festivals such as the Burning Woman Festival, events for the NHS, and recently hosted a Transformational Sound Healing Journey at the Mind Body Spirit Festival NEC Birmingham.

Due to the nature of the Crescent Bakery building, it's ideal to wear layers of clothing for cooler / warmer fluctuations.
