Do you love rocks and want to create something special? Soapstone carving is a process that allows your brain to be totally focused in a productive and meditative frame of mind. A very satisfying medium.... come give it a try! You'll make one piece but may do another as time allows. The soapstone and tools will be provided, but you'll need to bring a mask and some leather gloves. Also, wear older clothes as you will get soapstone dust on you. This will be held outside the gallery under the shade. Bring water to drink.
Adults only. Plan to come and have fun!
Please refrain from wearing perfumes to class as your instructor is very allergic to scents. Thank you!
