Beginner Sewing: Learn to Use a Sewing Machine + Make a Coin Purse!
About this Event
In this beginner sewing class you will learn how to wind and load a bobbin, thread the sewing machine, sew straight stitches, curves, and pivot. I will guide you through sewing a simple (but cute :) zipper bag.
Very beginner- no experience needed!
Small class size!
Sewing machines, fabric, zippers, and all supplies will be provided. You can bring your own fabric but keep in mind the time you'll need for cutting, as well as the material (non-stretch, not too thick). Email me if you have any questions.
Teens ages 17 and under must have a guardian present in the library during the class time. All students must be able to follow safety instructions during class.
Note: Sewing involves operating machinery and sharp equipment such as scissors, needles, hot irons, etc. Please follow all safety instuctions. Sewrenity and the instructor will not be repsonsible for injury or boldily harm during class.
