Beginner Sewing Class
Have a sewing machine but aren’t quite sure how to use it? Maybe it’s still sitting in the box—or you’ve tried sewing and ended up with a tangled mess underneath the fabric. This class is for you!
Join me for a fun, relaxed two-hour beginner sewing class designed for those with little or no sewing experience.
You’ll learn:
✂️ The basic parts of your sewing machine
🧵 How to wind and insert a bobbin
✂️ How to thread your machine correctly
🧵 Straight stitching and speed control
✂️ Backstitching and seam allowances
🧵 Sewing corners, curves and zigzag stitches
✂️ Simple troubleshooting and needle changing
This first class focuses on becoming comfortable and confident with your machine. We will not make a project during this class. You’ll receive a helpful Sewing 101 practice packet and plenty of hands-on instruction.
Cost: $20 per person
Please bring your sewing machine, power cord, foot pedal, correct bobbin, basic presser foot and machine manual if you have it.
Space is limited, so reserve your seat early!
