Beginner Sewing 101: Master the Machine
About this Event
What You'll Be Doing: Meet your machine! In this absolute beginner session, you will learn essential sewing machine operations, safety rules, how to wind a bobbin, and how to thread the upper needle. Once you are set up, you will practice sewing straight lines, tackling corners, navigating curves, and mastering backstitching.
Do You Need to Bring Anything?: No! All tools and materials—including sewing machines, fabric, scissors, and thread—are fully provided for you on-site.
What to Expect: Expect a highly supportive, hands-on 1 to 1.5-hour workshop guided by an expert instructor. You will leave with the core confidence needed to operate a sewing machine independently.
💡 Note: This workshop is part of a four-series event; however, you can attend any session individually or collectively!
