Its finally time to start creating spectacular artwork for the kiln!In this class we will be learning the basics of clay while creating an animal of your choosing. I will have some examples for you to use or you can choose your own. We will be learning how to start a sculpture, including prepping the clay. We are also going to learn how to fuse 2 pieces of clay together so that they do not fall apart when fired. We will learn about thicknesses, and structure, all of the basics to create a successful fired sculpture.
This class covers your clay and first firing. You can paint your sculpture with acrylic paint and gloss at no extra charge. For glazing and refiring there will be an addition class/charge.
$30 per person. Price includes all supplies and instructions as well as complimentary snacks and soft drinks.
