PLEASE READ LOCATION DETAILS BELOW!We’re ready to welcome you to the fantastic world of Salsa dancing in Vermont. This 6 week revolving series is for the new dancer who wants to learn the fundamentals from the ground up.
This series will focus on a lot of repetition of fundamental steps, partnering concepts, and basic patterns. We encourage you to take this entire series however, this class is also drop in friendly. It does not require a partner or any dance experience, and most important is about fun!
Here are the key concepts you will learn in this class:
- Basic Steps: Understanding the foundational footwork.
- Timing and Rhythm: Learning how to count the beats and staying on the correct timing.
- Partner Connection: Developing the ability to connect with a dance partner, including hand positioning, frame, and leading or following techniques.
- Core moves: Learning the foundational moves of salsa. These are the moves that will set you up for social dancing, and our intermediate classes.
